We purchased a whole house generator from Riverside Electric in December 2021. They were professional and responsive throughout the process. Their prices were reasonable and we have very minimal disruption in our utilities during the installation. The office staff is also very helpful and pleasant. Great experience!

I had a 1:00 appt to get estimate on a whole house generator. I called at 1:03 asking if person is on time...answer was will be there shortly. I called at 1:33...asked where is person for estimate...answer was will be there shortly. I called at 2:03...asked where is the person for the estimate...answer was will be there shortly. NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP...OR CALLED! The person I spoke with hung up on me. Do not use this company! Thank you for the reply...however...I have an email stating 1:00 without any mention of a 4 hour window. If you would like to see it, I would be glad to share it with you. In addition, you never even addressed the mis-direction replies from your girls who answer the phone about "He will be there shortly." SHORTLY! LOL. Lastly, I asked to speak with a manager or the VP of sales...I was denied until I pushed further. And then, I was sent to another "sales person"? He proceeded to want me to go back to my house, wait another 45-60 minutes to show up??? NO! Also, the girl answering the phones mentioned that the VP will call. We will see...but I doubt! So no, your response which I think is misleading to public...it does not change my mind.

Hi Glenn - Thank you for your review and we apologize that this happened. We want every customer's experience to be awesome when working with our company and we are sorry yours wasn't. We give a four hour window for our appointments and for an afternoon appointment the window is 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM. I apologize if there was a miscommunication on the time of the appointment, but I spoke to the scheduler, and we did not promise this at 1:00 PM. Our salesman was at another appointment which went longer than expected but he was 20 minutes from your location and would have arrived around 2:45 PM. In between your phone calls we did try to contact him, but he was meeting with another customer and was unable to answer his phone. I’m sure you can understand that being in sales yourself. Our other salesman that spoke to you on the phone this afternoon offered to come there but he was either disconnected or was hung up on. We did not call you back or show up because we were told to throw your number away and do not come. If there is a miscommunication with this or if you would like to discuss this further, please reach out to our Operations Manager, Paul, or our President, Krista, at 513-936-0100. I scheduled an electric panel and battery replacement. Chris showed up on time and upon detailed inspection he was able to read the existing panel display and we realized I had misread the battery age and the battery did not need replacement. Chris could have sold me the entire package but respectfully said I didn't need it. Extremely professional and honest. This has been my experience with Riverside Electric every time I have a question/issue. Thanks!
