  This place is a joke!! Would give negative stars if I could! Zero customer service ! If you’re looking at moving to their service area good luck as a new customer! Plan on getting solar or wind and generate your own electricity! The only way you can enter payment information is through automated system and if it doesn’t recognize a number correctly it still gives you a confirmation number that you paid your bill (and it didn’t). Try to explain that and they put you on cash pay only (to a closed office) and it is what it is.. I had 28 Alliant Energy accounts at my previous place and NEVER had any issues like this!

  Had one issue a couple years ago. The issue was resolved in a timely manner and I haven't had a problem since.

  Experienced power outage at -28F. Call personnel were professional and service was restored with a few hours of outage. Thank you lineman/woman.
