  We have a new, hi-end custom home completed Dec 2019--moved in Jan 2020. We have had multiple electrical issues (done by a different electrical company) that we never experienced with all the other homes we've owned over our 35 years of marriage with multiple moves from low end to hi end homes. Jared was the electrician that came out this time to help fix some of the new build problems. We had another RM electrician about a year ago but cannot remember his name now--but he was just as helpful & good. Jared replaced a transformer for low voltage lighting (that recently started to rapidly flash on and off whenever we would turn them on) at the toe kick around our kitchen island and cabinets. We were given a 60 watt transformer with the new build but Jared said that should have been 90 for the amount of rope lighting (or tape lighting) that we have. Also, he replaced a faulty circuit breaker for our Miele washing machine that periodically turns off during the washing cycle. We have a lot of kitchen appliances that are set-up with 8 outlets in a series of "garage" cabinets--but they are all on the same circuit breaker so we can only run one appliance at a time. We don't think this can be fixed now but the other company knew what they were wiring for and the electricians from RM Electric are always shocked at how this was wired. If a room required 4 outlets by code--the other company installed a 4-outlet box rather than 2 outlet box and another 2 outlets on the other side of the room (like anyone would want). We recommend Rocky Mtn Electric for any electrical needs--but if you're building a brand-new home--INSIST on RM Electric to do all your electrical! Do not trust the builder to chose his favorite electrical subcontractor. Its too important to have quality work or you could be frustrated every day after you move in!

  Rocky Mtn Electric is an incredible company. They installed a new panel for us four years ago, and most recently installed an outdoor electrical charger for our E vehicle. Technicians are friendly and professional, and this is a top rate company that we have worked with for over 4 years. Highly recommend.
