Very nice polite men who did work at my house. I deeply regret that Robert had a stroke and has not come back to finish up the job he was doing. I just pray he can recover and live a normal wholesome life again.

Asked for an electrical service over the weekend via Home Depot referral. Was called Sunday night for an appointment between 2-3pm next day Monday. I turn down two other electricians that called Monday morning. I move my washer and dryer out of my laundry room to ensure they have no obstructions. 3:30pm on Monday comes and no one is here, I call and he needs to reschedul for today Wednesday at 11am. Okay, great. I again, plan my day off around this in the morning and my errands and another appointments in the afternoon. 11:15 am and he's not here, I call and they are not even coming to me until after 3 today. He offers to reroute and get here in about an hour and a half, making my later scheduled appointments at risk for colliding. My washer and dryer have been in my kitchen since Monday, I have used my days off this week, i have turned down other electrical services, and I still have nothing to show for it but a disappointing experience.

RTX was one of the three contractors who contacted me after I requested installation on a Home Depot purchase. Good installation on a large ceiling fan. Quoted me $100 for installing the fan (as evidenced by Robert’s voicemail and text message and verbal conversation with me). After installation, he said it was $120, not $100. Hmm, ok. Not a huge difference (and we were planning on giving him tip anyway) but you would think even after showing him the text and voicemail he would have admitted he told us $100. One of his workers even overheard the voicemail and commented that he did leave a voicemail with that quote. Instead of honoring his quote, Robert said “well, it’s still a pretty good deal, it’s cheaper than our normal hourly rates.” Yeah, but that’s not the point. We actually would have gone with another contractor who quoted less than $120 had we known that. If there’s one thing that bugs me most about contractors, it’s lying about a quote. Anyway, we were hoping to get RTX to do a bunch of other electrical stuff around but just can’t trust his quotes.
