  It’s a complete waste of time dealing with some of the teachers at this school. You can try to reason with them until you’re blue in the face and it will all be for nothing. If a child doesn’t turn in homework they’ll get 30 minute detention after school. Then it’s up to their parent to figure out transportation because now they’ve missed the bus. What happened to detention based on behavioral issues??? Also they can’t speak with you and you alone regarding whatever issue they have. they have to discuss the child amongst the other teachers and then all group up like a zombie horde to deal with you. I sat in on some of their classes and was immediately disappointed. One teacher in particular was extremely disrespectful to the students. She yelled at the students the entire class. Her behavior was extremely erratic, and she’s just downright rude. Keep in mind this is while a parent was sitting in on her class. Imagine how she behaves on a normal day. Some of the staff need to figure out why they chose the field they’re in. Are you a motivator? Are you a leader? Do you love molding minds? Do you believe that every child is worth fighting for? If so then fight for them! I’ve given up on the school at this point.

  I rate this school at a 0. This school is horrible. I've never had any problems until my son started attending this school. He has always been an A&B honor roll student from the very first start of school period. But now, he's failing, being bullied by high schoolers on his bus, teachers marking him absent for days that he was actually at school, illiterate staff working at this school that consider themselves teachers when speaking to them they use street "slang" which is enough to make anybody mad. I've called the school in regards of his attendance record that is all messed up as well as the bullying going on on my son's bus but this school has yet to take matters into their own hands and fix the situation. This school is a joke and I'm doing everything in my power to get my son in a much better school. The board of education needs to hire a whole new staff especially teachers that will actually care about their students education!!!!!!

  My daughter went there for 7th and 8th grade. No problems that talking with teacher or principle couldn't fix. I had a very good experience, but I don't just send my kid to school on a bus and never walk in the school. I helped out when I could. Teachers have to see that you care about your child and their education. Also, don't jump on the staff. Be respectful! Respecting others gets you along way in life. My husband and I are also RSHS graduates. We got our education. You can only get, what you put in. Teacher can't teach, if your there to play and cause problems.
