  Scheduled an estimate to have a service upgrade and they showed up on time (during a snow storm) which was great. Had another estimate done by somebody else (which was cheaper) but decided to choose Scherer cause they showed up on time. So set up an appointment 2 months in advance to have the work done. About a day or two before the appointment I was notified they can’t come out because Dig Safe hasn’t marked the site because they are backed up and they would be out as soon as it gets marked. Never heard back and this was like 8 months ago. I’ve had dig safe out to mark the same area since then with no issues. Will now have to have this done in 2022 and prices have probably gone up on material. To reply to the owners response: I messaged your company a week before the original appointment and asked if everything was all set for the appointment and the girl told me yes. Never did she say anything about a deposit or a signature. I was never informed about a reschedule date of 5/31.

  Hello Nicholas, we are sorry to hear of your less than satisfactory experience with our company, we checked our records on your estimate, we arrived on 01/19/2021, you were provided an estimate via email on 01/20/2021, the estimate was accepted by you verbally on the phone on 02/03/2021 and scheduled for 04/27/2021. We did not receive the signed copy of the estimate, nor a payment of the estimate consult fee of $85.91 that is credited towards the job total when accepted, or the 20% deposit required on the estimate. We do not order job materials, file permits, or a file a dig safely request without a deposit on the estimate. Upon the realization that a deposit was not made we contacted you and rescheduled the job for 05/31/2021, we still did not receive any payments or the deposit, so the job was cancelled on our end. If you would like to proceed please call the office and we will do our best to match the original estimate quoted price.

  Wonderful experience! Quick, efficient service. Mike was an outstanding trouble-shooter!!! Was able to get an appointment quickly. Tons of communication from start to finish from the company itself and with Mike while on site! Problem solved and the peace of mind he gave us was priceless!
