  Asked for an estimate, got an estimate without itemization. When the guys, who are great, came to the house, they had no idea the work we wanted done. They have been pulled from our home for other jobs repeatedly and we are still waiting for a 2 or 3 day job to be completed and it's been a week. We haven't been told when the crew will be here, times or dates, who can free up their schedules all day every day for a week or more? When we contacted Ed about all of this he became belligerent yelling about our estimate being "#&$& 30 jobs ago" super unprofessional, downright rude. If you can't handle the workload, don't take the job! We had to chase Ed by phone for days, he said call me in 3 days then call me in 2 days, never an I will call you back etc. Again, the guys doing the work are great, Ed's customer service skills, organizational skills, communication skills and overall personality as the face of this business has earned it a 1 star from us, it would be less if it could be. AVOID THIS BUSINESS

  Scriba Electric was very helpful when we recently sustained damage to our electrical mast in a windstorm. I called several local electricians, most of whom never even called me back, but Scriba responded promptly and told me when I could expect a technician to be available. The technician was very thorough in gathering information on our problem and arrived on time with everything he needed to make the repair. He stayed in touch through the afternoon to verify that National Grid was able to hook our power back up. When there was an issue with the documentation of the inspection of the repair, he was very responsive and quickly got the linemen the information they needed. Scriba Electric will definitely be our first choice next time we need an electrician!

  The work completed was good, but I had several unprofessional communications regarding setting the work up, what would be required, and my request for an itemized invoice. I was also told my service would cost $700 less than it ended up costing and was met with a "deal with it" attitude. It's possible this person is overworked, but I felt in the dark throughout much of the process with some surprise costs once we were knee deep. For a person inexperienced getting electricity set up, I'd do some serious research before communicating with any company like this.
