Great experience today with Shane who repaired a damaged drapery rod (that wasn't secured into a stud-just wall board) and left the area clean in under an hour. Nice young man; very polite and efficient. This is 3rd repair job by Seaside in last 6 months-always send expert crafts people and sharpen their pencils before sending the bill. We also use them for our rental property maintenance across town.

I work with Seaside Maintenance frequently, both personally and professionally. From full remodels to HVAC and appliances for both replacement and repair, as well as general maintenance, this team of professionals have gone above and beyond my high expectations with prompt and detail oriented service, on days, nights, and weekends. Each time I have requested information for a project, large or small; one of the local owners has responded quickly with a fair quote. Here is the experience: Cheap dishwasher not working in condo that is a vacation rental. Week 1 on Friday - I call them and ask if they can fix. They say yes, they can have someone in there to fix the dishwasher on Monday. I say great. I let the vacation renters know about repair guy showing up on Monday. Week 2 on Tuesday - I never hear back from Seaside about whether it was fixed or anything. So I call them up. They said that the pump is broken and they had a hard time finding the part. But they would get it in on Wednesday and fix it on Thursday. Week 2 on Thursday - I don't hear from them about scheduling a time to fix the dishwasher, so I call them back. But, before I do, I google the cost of fixing a pump in a dishwasher. Advice is that on cheap appliances, you don't do that because it is best to buy new. I talk to Seaside and they tell me they still haven't gotten the part... they need to get back into the condo to get more info. I asked what a guestimate of repairs would be. They said $230. I said, "why would I pay you $230 to fix a dishwasher that is at Lowes brand new for $230?" They said that they couldn't guarantee that the dishwasher would be fixed by this weekend which means that we would stretch into week 3 with it not being fixed and at a price where I could buy new. So, I ranked them 1 star because: Poor communication skills, poor time-frame for getting info needed to buy appropriate parts, poor judgement on when an item should be fixed in comparison to just swapping out with new. I almost can't think of a way they could have done worse other than flooding my condo when trying to fix it next week.
