The guys at Silver State are amazing. They are pros through and through. They gave me a bid more reasonable and quicker than other companies I had contacted, I needed the work done fast, and they were able to schedule the disconnect, get the permits, and start within 1 weeks’ time from when I first called. I had an old fuse panel from 1964 that was well overdue for an upgrade. They ran into several code issues during the work and stayed late to do the job the right way when they could have just as easily overlooked them and rushed the job. That is integrity. I am so grateful. These guys take pride in their work and were very friendly and down-to- earth, and happily answered any questions I had. I would ignore those other reviews and definitely recommend Silver State Electric. Thanks, guys!

So I put in an order for Silver State to come to my rental an switch out the wall plugs and switches. The electrician had shown up three days later and no call telling me when he would arrive or what the issue was. When he did arrive he then told me he had to get parts at 125.00 per hour on my time, gone for almost two hours. At the end of the install he hands me bill for 2767.00 with a miscellaneous charge of 50.00 bucks and when I asked what that was for he said ‘gas’ but I was thinking 2767.00 should have gas figured. Hmmm. And don’t talk to John unless you absolutely have to because he will stop working and keep on talking (on your dime of course) till the cows come home. Never again will I EVER use Silver State again and nor should you.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible customer service. Had to call because a light was flickering and then went out and thought it was the ballast. The electrician changed the ballast,(was at the location for about 10 min at the most), it worked when he left but then started flickering again. We called them out and they had an appointment for the next day. No show, no call. Called today to have electrician go back out. They refused to send the electrician back out with charging me another $135.00 initial hour service fee. So basically to get my light fixed I have to pay the $135.00 plus parts for the first 10 min visit and then will have to pay the $135.00 again plus whatever else they find so that they actually fix the problem? No way! They should back up their work. Why am I paying for something that they didn't even fix! They are the electricians, not me. Just because I think it's a ballast doesn't mean I'm right! I was so shocked. The Manager Chris, who wouldn't give his last name is super rude and completely unreasonable!!!!!!!!
