  My husband and I bought our first home in July of 2020. Very long story short, the seller hired Soltec to fix some of the electrical issues found in the inspection, but only told them about a couple to try and save themselves money. We were told all the problems were fixed, and after closing and living in the home for a little bit we learned there were tons of issues which costed us over 2k (and counting) to fix. Soltec had fixed everything that they were asked to, but the seller failed to report ALL of the issues to Soltec. Ken from Soltec, who technically didn’t owe us the time of day, felt it on his heart to do his part and make a right of someone else’s wrong. He drove down from Bradenton to Sarasota, to our home, shook our hands, reimbursed us for a portion of the cost, and in return the only thing he asked was that we pay the generosity forward. This is a company that truly cares about bettering their community and has gone above and beyond to prove so. We will be utilizing them for our electrical needs in the future, and encourage you to do the same.
