  This company was part of my home warranty. I requested their service to install three ceiling fans with down rods for a total of $696. I returned home to see the three fans installed too low. I contacted the company and shared that the fans were too low. They responded that they would see what they can do. We were contacted and informed that the shorter fan rods will be $50 each. I stated that I would have two replaced and for now and the others later, even though I should not be paying for the work to be corrected. I later requested that two more fans have shorter down rods. I was then told it would be $195 for the two rods and two technicians. I asked why the price increase and was told that each technician gets $90 per hour, and I never requested shorter down rods, although the option or choice was not provided to me. They said they install 3ft down rods on all their fan installations, no matter the ceiling height, which was not presented within the quote, only that they will provide the down rods. As a company hired to do a job, the expectation is for the appropriate materials to be used. There should not be a one-size-fits-all. I do not recommend this company to anyone—poor customer service, response time, business practices, and unethical.
