I have nothing but good things to say about this company. My power bills have practically all been under $100 since I've been with them because I conserve energy. I'm not sure why the bad reviews but everyone has been extremely nice to us and helpful when I call.

I love Southern Pine!  I was with Entergy in Jackson and moved to Pearl and I am very happy with the service and price.

Power going out is almost a weekly occurrence with this company. No infrastructure management or repair being done ever. I advise to avoid this company if you have other power options.

My lights have been off for 2 days and about to be 3. Every family on my road lights are on except mine. All our lights went off at the same time so why our lights are not back on like theirs. We have lost tons of food due to this but I bet we're going to still get a extremely high bill. I had a $300 light bill last month when I put my heat on 66 degrees at night and never go pass 70 degress in the day. I have been in my house in the spring during mid day and my lights just cut off for no reason and was off for hours.

This is the absolute worst electric company to have. How can a bill go from $105, $178, to $289 with the temp on the thermostat remaining the same and the only excuse is there where cold day and your unit had to run. Well really? So what’s the use of setting the temp and leaving it? I absolutely hate this company and will be reporting to Wlbt the ridiculous bills, my neighbors and I have experienced. Something has to be done, it’s unacceptable for a company to monopolize and then price gauge at their discretion.
There is no way one should have freeze for trying to avoid a high bill and end up with a high bill anyway. I am placing my home on the market in order to not ever deal with Southern pine again. I hate it! If you’re considering buying a home, be sure it’s not on a southern’s pine side. If so decline and find elsewhere! Thank me later!

I sincerely wish I could give less than one star. These people are the Comcast of power companies. If you actually manage to get ahold of someone at their office, which I usually don't, they are incredibly rude and unhelpful. I've been on hold for twenty minutes and counting as I type this. No power at my house, and no help from Southern Pine. They bill me whatever they feel like every month, no one checks the meter. Sometimes it's over three hundred dollars when I've run nothing in my home but LED lightbulbs. The next month it might be half that, who knows?

Worst power company I’ve ever experienced. If you’re house hunting and the power company is Southern Pines, do yourself a favor and search elsewhere. I’ve had southern pines for about 2 years now and my power has went out more than anywhere I’ve lived in my entire life. Mostly during a basic rain storm and frequently during a bright, sunny day.

Absolutely done!! This is the worst so called power company i have ever had to deal with. You pay out the butt, and your power is out constantly. Twice today. Even on a sunny day you come home and everything is blinking. I have lived all over this state and it's not untill I move to this area where a power company takes complete advantage of it's customers by price gouging them and then providing the worst services possible. Just pitiful.

Best Power Company in Mississippi! I don't know what these one star people are talking about! They  work really hard to meet their customer's needs and the lineman work really hard!!!! I would recommend them to anybody! They have the best CEO in the country! He is also a decent hunter and has the best son in the world named after him.

I don't know what all you folks are complaining about.  I have a rental property with Southern Pines and they are great to work with.  As far as the price and deposits, get real.  A $200/Month light bill....are you kidding me.  Get a real job and work on your credit rating or you will still be bitching from you rented trailer house 5 years from now.
