  If you love art, you should make the trip to Fayetteville to visit St. John's. Hanging behind the altar are four amazing paintings that at one time hung in the old church. When the current church was built, the paintings were put out in a bus barn and forgotten. Several years ago, they were rediscovered, appraised and restored. Thank goodness they were found and have been returned to hang in the church. Be sure to check the website for more information for visitors before going unless you plan to attend a regularly scheduled Mass.
