  Most visitor centers are little more than a rack of brochures. This offers a bit more with a nice gift shop with some local products. There are displays with historical information and local art. And, of course, brochures of area businesses.

  Good stuff for sale and a potty stop. Um. Pokemon Go stop. And gym, so lots of good reasons to go.

  I like to stop here and get a Northwest Quarterly magazine that shows what's going on in the Stateline area. There's souvenirs for Freeport and some history items. There's also brochures for other towns close by and what's going on with them, but Northwest Quarterly covers it all including restaurants and motels. The staff are always super nice and friendly.
