After waiting a week for a response from another local electrician. We called around and Sterling Wiring Solutions was the only one that answered others didn't even have voicemail setup. They didn't have any technicians available right away so the manager, Juan came by himself, to accommodate our schedule. He was professional and courteous and was able to find the problem right away and solve for it. Overall from call, to visit and fix it took less than 2hrs! Amazing customer service. Sterling Wiring will be my go-to for electrical for my house and if any one needs a referral.

Everyone I spoke to at this company were friendly, and communicative, they were able to answer all of my questions clearly and with a strong knowledge on the subjects. Juan was the electrician that came to help us, and not only was he able to solve our issue, he also corrected some minor quality of life issues. Great company with great people, I will have no problem recommending them to others.

Again you are incorrect, I never had a refrigerator that was not working it was only the outlet behind the refrigerator which could have waited for several days it was plugged into another outlet , there was no urgency. That being said it still does not explain trip charges which were never mentioned nor the actual time it took for the repair being the charge rather than “breaks” being included. I was never informed I would be charged for trip time. My house is 15 minutes from their location yet I was charged for 45 minutes at the same rate as doing repair. My repair was a simple one yet took one hour and 10 minutes due to three smoke breaks. I don’t mind paying for repair time but not for smoke time or trip time from who knows where when I was never informed. I won’t use this company again.

I apologize for your unsatisfactory experience. You are correct, your home is in fact 15 minutes from our office in Pearland but you have to consider some factors. Your call was made when technicians were already scheduled at least one day in advance to service other jobs throughout the Greater Houston area and not just Pearland. The call was for a refrigerator not working and given the situation the manager made an executive decision, in your best interest, to fit in your request immediately to avoid having your food spoil. You were not charged overtime or emergency rates for this prompt service where in most cases we do charge additional fees or applicable rates for situations like this. The first technician available was sent to your home, he was almost an hour away & I do apologize for the miscommunication from the office. Upon arrival the technician completed troubleshooting the issue and found someone has improperly installed a broken receptacle. The tech made a trip to his truck, probably smoked, found a compatible receptacle, made up a pigtail for your receptacle to be replaced and installed it. Then the last trip to his truck he probably smoked again but while doing so he was uploading all the photos he had taken of the task completed to the server and to fill out his paperwork for you to sign. Our techs are taught to be very thorough and those steps include plenty of photos for record and paperwork filled out as thorough as possible, so it does take our techs a little longer than other companies. Overall, for less than $125, the service provided was done professionally by a respectful, 30 year experienced, licensed Journeyman electrician. I hope you can overlook his imperfections and reconsider your feelings & comments about the entire company based on his habit. If you do reconsider our services, we'll send another technician and communicate all concerns clearly. Thank you for your business.
