  My husband and I recently purchased an outdoor sauna that required an electrician for the heaters installation. We called a few of the larger companies in town, but were disappointed at the long lead times.. we can all agree that when you want something done, its great if it can be done now! After reading some reviews we decided to give The Original Electrician and another company a shot. First we had our consultation with Andrew and his partner (of The Original Electrician), the meeting went so well we almost didn't entertain the second company. During the consultation Andrew and his partner were polite and extremely knowledgeable. Communication was easy and their quote was rock solid... We were never charged a dime more than what was quoted at our consultation. I have very little understanding of electrical work, Andrew allowed us both the time to ask as many questions as we had and took great care to explain the process. We even called him a few times with additional questions, responses were prompt. We did take the consult with the second company, a very big name in the area. We both felt like ours was just another job, it seemed they had very little passion for the work or interest in creating any type of trust for the consumer. I won't go into detail, but be very cautious when the company isn't helping you understand the process and is giving you a price that feels exceptionally disproportionate to the work being done. The Original Electrician is building a stellar reputation in the area. We felt extremely comfortable through the entirety of the process. They really take the time to commit to your project and see it through in a timely manner. Andrew and his team are not the cheapest in town, but they ARE the best! These guys will go above and beyond to respect your property: they'll wear shoe covers upon request, utilize drop cloth and they never leave a mess! As for the quality of the work, the images online do not lie! The sub panel they installed was preformed immaculately. The wiring was done with such care, we were both blown away. We had a 240 volt line run for the sauna heater and everything looks so clean and tidy. Our sauna heater functions as expected and we've had zero issues. I would recommend The Original Electrician to anyone and will absolutely be using them for future projects.

  I was shopping electricians for an estimate to install ceiling fans in my home. Two insisted they had to come to my house to estimate before they could do work. I’ve been lured by that method before. They get here and then they won’t leave. Andrew, the owner, returned my phone call in a matter of minutes. Gave me a clear understanding of what it would cost, he showed up on time and he and his helper performed the Installations efficiently and quietly using drop cloths everywhere they worked and cleaned up everything. It was easy and fun to watch.

  Andrew’s great. He replaced our panel at our old house and it was a great experience, so we called him to add a transfer switch at our new house. He communicates his schedule, really takes the time to explain what he’s doing and why, even walked us through how to use our generator. Highly recommend him!
