Maybe I should wait on this review. I'm starting to feel I owe it to others though. Mike is a great guy, I like him. I believe he does good thorough work as well. I'm getting very frustrated now though. We purchased a hot tub back in November, it's now March 22nd. Prior to purchasing on black friday we called Mike to get electrical stuff started as I knew we'd need updating on our home and shop. I do realize we had to wait on Idaho power until February 14th, so no blame there at all. What is frustrating is I paid half up front to buy supplies and before Idaho power comes some of the work could be done to prep, ok so it didn't happen no big deal as long as it's done when they get here. So Idaho power came and some of the job was done and then the power to my shed was shut off and I was told there was no idea how it was run to the shed. The problem is cutting power to it cut power to my water pump, so no water. He didn't seem happy to hook it back up. My thoughts there is was that the intentions just cutting power to something intending to leave it that way? It also sounded like I'd be charged more, but no bills have come out, so I guess we'll see on that, but it was mentioned to save money and time if I could dig the hole from my shop to the hot tub and he could finish the end of the next week, ok no problem it'd be a good work out, so I did it, he put in some conduit. Also on the job it's not how I asked for it to be in the first place, said it's so it's easier for the firefighters if they have to shut off power and the inspector would like it better and (key words here, it'd be easier and less wire running in the other location). I reluctantly agreed, so I'm helping him out here. I've stopped making phone calls to him as when things start going array I start texting so I have documentation. I've asked what the end of next week means exactly and when the status of the job is. I've continued to be ignored. I'd call it off and go with another, however, paying half up front was a lot of materials and I'm not sure if that'd end up costing me more, so here I wait and now I feel like I should let somebody else know. I rarely post reviews, but I think I'd want to know about this type of service. I saw on angie's list a very good review, so apparently he's been prompt for others. I don't know what I've done to anger him, I've been patient, however, waiting on a job like this for 4 months - yes Idaho power was a bottleneck, now it's on him though. It's been a month and a week now since then, you'd think that I'd be a little higher on his to do list. Sorry for the long post, I figured it needed to be a little thorough to explain my stars and be fair to Mike. I tried to stick to objective points. Subjectively, he's been overall pleasant, I like him. I'd just get something in writing in the beginning on all details, especially a time frame maybe.

Mike responded to my call late one Friday afternoon to fix a light that continued to blink even when it was switched off. It was a simple fix and he took care of it right then and there. It was a great relief for me.

Over priced, cannot seem to be able to get a receipt or invoice detailing work done, requested repeatly with no action, said he would oblige but never followed through. Employees were good ,but when questions arose he was not available in person.would not do business with him again.
