  On February 2, 2022 My wife and I were on our way to Florida, when we got a flat tire near mile marker 187. Officer Taft pulled up on us as we were trying to change the tire on a very busy I-75. With out hesitation, he went to his car got the necessary items and changed the tire. He was so professional, kind and fast. We canceled our AAA. Officer Taft followed us until we were able to get to a place to get a new tire. Thank you so much Officer Taft.

  I had the pleasure of meeting Officer Robert. Taft of the "Turner Co. Sheriff's Department" on 1-10-22... YES. I was speeding, but this guy loves to stand on his tip toes and lie to your face... I had my cruise control set to 80 MPH on my 2003 HUMMER H2, yes you read it HUMMER H2 (NOT A CORVETTE or FERRARI) ... He lied and wrote a ticket for "92 MPH" my car doesn't go that fast without shaking or burning a tank of fuel... He then wanted to be an engineer and start a lecture about oversized wheels and tires, mind you mine has the factory setup, he then went to his car and grabbed his radar... It said "92" on it... I asked if it had been calibrated that morning, that's when he got nasty... I questioned his temper and asked if that was even from me ... If you are from out of state and passing through, be warned, they will be looking for out of state "speeders" and will LIE as you're expected to pay and move on... This county is the HIGHEST FINE'D county in the whole state... They know exactly what they're doing... Robert Taft if you're reading this, you are a huge liar and should be ashamed of yourself... If you find yourself in Chicago, please visit my showroom, just don't touch anything (everything we have maybe out of your reach)...

  Terrible all around! Very rude and inconsiderate and very abusive with their “power” as officers. Would give zero stars if I could! You have to do better hiring your officers. 🤦‍♂️ The officers in this county just want to ruin somebody’s day. Not professional at all in any way. The cop wouldn’t even tell us why we were pulled over & just asked for our license and got a very bad attitude when we asked him why we were pulled over. Deputy Robert Taft is such a jerk, his position as an officer needs to be terminated. He is abusing his power. I have nothing positive to say about our encounter with him what so ever. 👎👎👎fire him!
