I cannot say enough to show my trust in and respect for Ryan, the owner of this company. I called due to a long term issue that I'd sought help for three times previously. I had called another electrician company in Coos Bay back in January - a company with which I'd done business since moving here in 2001. The original issue was a humming electrical panel box and a breaker that was getting warm to the touch. The company I called replaced the breaker, and the problem appeared to be resolved. A few weeks later, my heater went out...or so I thought. When the heater repairman came, he discovered that the breaker was thrown, but it did not trip all the way to the off position, so I hadn't realized it. The heater repairman went over my heating unit with a fine-toothed comb and said he was confident that the heater was in perfect working condition. However, the breaker tripped every time he tested the heater's functioning. He also stated that the breaker was becoming warm to the touch. He told me the breaker was old and surmised that the electrician had installed a used one as replacement. He suggested I call the electrician back out, which I did. When the original electrician returned, he tested the load on the breaker, and said that nothing was wrong with the breaker. He insisted it must be the heater. He examined the heater and said he'd found an uncapped wire on the heater unit which he suspected may have caused the problem. He capped it and tested the breaker for a brief time, declaring the issue resolved. However, the breaker tripped again and would not allow my heater to be run. That is when I called Volt Electric. Ryan called me back very quickly, and patiently listened to my tale of woe. Then, he said it sounded like it was the breaker and that my former electrician would know it for sure now. He said I should call them with this new information and they'd be sure to be able to fix it. I was not willing to do that as my confidence in that company had been badly broken by this point. So, Ryan had me take pictures of the breaker box and breakers, specifically the one that was tripping. He then checked his supplies and told me he did not have a breaker that would work, but he promised to call around for one and get back to me. Less than an hour and a half later, Ryan called to say he had found a replacement and was on his way to my house. When he arrived, he spent a while examining the existing breaker and determining the cause of the issue was indeed a bad breaker. He even climbed up into the attic to check out the heater. He replaced the breaker the other electrician had installed less than two months before with the new one he'd brought. And, though he was reluctant, he answered my queries about the defective breaker the original electrician had installed in January. He showed me the new one and the old, and admitted that it was an older model and showed signs of long-term use....far more than the month I'd had it. When it came time for me to pay him, he wanted to charge me only $100 plus the $24.95 for the new breaker. I said, "Oh, hell no!" He had talked to me on the phone for over half an hour, called around to find a new breaker and driven out to pick it up, and then come to my house, where he'd spent over 45 minutes dealing with the issue (and even testing to allay my fears that the breaker box itself might need replacing). We finally agreed to $200, and I still feel like I ripped him off. So, bottom line, I recommend Ryan wholeheartedly, and believe him to be one of the most honorable people I know. The only caution I can give a perspective customer would be to watch closely to ensure that he charges ENOUGH! We need to keep such skilled and honorable professionals in work in our community, and they deserve an equitable wage. Ryan is my only electrician now. And, I am so grateful to have found him!

Andrew showed up on time, was extremely friendly and professional. He took the time to thoroughly examine the electrical system of an older home I just purchased and give me his honest opinion - he actually talked me out of stuff he felt I really didn’t need and gave me money saving alternatives to more expensive lighting solutions. Volt is now my go-to-company for any and all electrical needs. Definitely highly recommended.

95 yr old Veteran had his mobile home with half the house without power. Other electricians not available for 5 weeks. Mr. Volt called back the same day and said he could help with in the week. He came that night and found the issue in less then 30 mins in the dark. Fixed it in 15 mins more. Ryan is kind, courteous and it's a very good electrician. I would recommend him to anybody that has electrical issues.
