  I have used Wasatch Heat cable for several heat cable projects on my custom home. When I moved in the heat cable had already been installed by another company. After the first winter in my home I realized that the heat cable wasn't installed correctly and was failing to keep up with our Utah winters! I had some huge Ice dams that were damaging my roof and it was still December. Eric came in and melted the ice off of my roof with high pressure hot water, removed the old heat tape, installed the new and I haven't had a problem since. Two years later I had him replace another section that when spliced, actually spewed water out of it for several minutes. As you know water and electricity don't mix. Eric is very professional and is and expert in his industry! I highly recommend Wasatch heat cable.

  After a large snow storm this week it appeared that our gutter and downspout system that was installed a couple of years ago was not working. I called the office to schedule an appointment expecting it might take up to a week to have someone address the issue. The next day Eric arrived and worked on the system, found the problem, got the system up and running except for one defective part that was older than the system he had installed. The next day he came back and replaced the old part and system is now running as it should. Kudos to Eric and his excellent response.

  I was stuck with a bill for $300/hr for melting snow. Felt like they took advantage of the situation and were unwilling to negotiate. I would never use this company or recommend them to a friend.
