  I called Werner Brothers for a quote to install outlets in my basement and was told that it would be a full day job, and was given a quote of $95/hour for 8 hours of work plus $100 in materials. I booked an appointment and was told that the electrician would be at my home at 7:30AM on the day we had booked. The day of the appointment, nobody showed up. I called the office and was told they didn't know what happened, they'd look into it. No call back. I called again and was told they would be at my home later that morning. 2 gentlemen showed up at 10:15am and informed me that Nate and Craig never told them they had the job... and that they had been doing a job at a different location all morning. They had no materials with them, so they had to drive to Home Depot to buy materials despite that I had told the office exactly what I needed done. They returned at 11am and worked until 12:30pm. So a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes, including the time to get materials. I was billed $860 plus tax for 8 hours of labor that was done in 90 minutes. Over the following week, I sent several emails and called the office several times to ask about the huge discrepancy in the original quote of $95/hour and what I was charged. A full week later, one of my calls was finally answered by Craig. He told me he would look into it and promised a call back later that day. But, no call came. Instead, I received an email that included an invoice for 6 hours of work plus materials, with a refund of $160. I emailed back and said I was confused where the 6 hours of labor were coming from, and asked for clarification. I received an email (no call) telling me that's their bottom line for a refund. No explanation of where the additional hours came from, just a 1-line reply. While I have to say that the gentlemen who did the installation of outlets were great, it's disappointing that Nate and Craig don't have the desire to treat their customers with courtesy and bill customers with honesty. Sadly, I was referred to Werner Brothers Electric. If you decide to employ their services, I would recommend asking for a quote to be emailed to you, and be sure that you have that quote handy when it comes time for the bill.

  After a storm, we needed an electrician to repair our meter box. Every electrician was booked solid but Nate did the best he could to get someone here as quick as possible. He was transparent about the cost and someone actually got here to do an estimate. Although we ended up using a different electrician (only because they were able to come immediately) Nate was friendly and professional saying he was glad we were able to get help.

  We recently did a small upgrade and needed numerous light fixtures to replaced. These guys from Werner Brothers Electric Inc came out and did a marvelous job. They were very competent and even left our place spotless. Highly recommend. Quality work and I highly recommend them.
