Would not recommend. They take NO PRIDE in their work: crooked installs; dents in nearby walls; installing fuse/wiring boxes in the most obvious and lazy places; dangling wires outside exposed to the elements; switches to same fixture but only one has a dimmer; not installing USB compatible outlets when asked; scuffs and scratches on fixture installs; use of incorrect size nails resulting in nails bursting through new cabinets and beams; rude employees. As others have stated, when you present a problem to them, they don't want to do it right they just want to give you a paltry amount of your money back... Perhaps there is too much demand for electrical work right now and they are taking on too many jobs--and inexperienced/ careless electricians--than they can provide quality work for. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Another remodel company that takes no pride in their work.

Awful experience from one of their electricians. Major remodel work was executed with little care or professionalism from this particular West Side Electric Company employee. Installed dozens of new outlets--mostly in place of old ones--and they were almost ALL crooked. Whenever he needed to use screws--which was often--he would grab whatever size was in his pocket, causing damaged to brand new cabinets or emerging thru walls and floorboards. He managed to scuff or break multiple BRAND NEW fixtures. This extremely poor work almost seems intentional as if this employee is very unsatisfied with his experience working at West Side Electric Company. This guy doesn't respect his professional, his employer, or the high price for his work. I expect good work and craftmanship, not a $500 "hush money" offer.

Our microwave oven tripped the circuit breaker and I could not reset it, leading me to assume the switch was defective. Someone came out and said the switch needed replacing, but he didn't have the correct part. He was on the phone for some time trying to have the part delivered, but then realized that the switch needed to be first turned off completely before being reset. He should have realized this immediately. Now I've received a bill for $225, their minimum charge for the first hour of service. (This is over 15% increase from what they charged just a few months ago, without alerting me of a price increase.) I was very unhappy about the charge, and called to complain. Their only proposed adjustment was a charge of JUST $150. I've had other companies under similar circumstances void the service charge. I will definitely not call this company again.
