Very professional staff both at the office and the employees who came to my house.  I had 220 line installed and do to my circuit panel they had to relocate and move things all around to make it work.  They also install another outside receptacle and the overall finished job on both areas was outstanding.  Highly recommended and will use again if needed.

We had an overloaded GFI that was flipping the breaker every time I'd use my hairdryer. We had someone else come and look at it and couldn't figure it out. Then White's came to look at it and they were able to diagnose the issue, fix it and even bigger issue with an overloaded breaker. They didn't 'talk' over our heads and I thought it was very affordable for what we had them do.

Whites install two recessed/canned lights above my kitchen counter and and one light fixture above my sink. They were very professional and very reasonable in cost.

On 12/23, I heard a loud noise and was amazed to see a 3 light bar had fallen down in a bathroom.  My husband went on line to see if he could find an electrician to respond but any responders were closed until after the first of the year.  I remembered we used White's Electric before and called.  I explained that we were having a delayed Christmas on New Year's Eve and needed to have more than a lantern in the bathroom!  The wonderful receptionist checked to see what she could do.  She said that she could have a technician come the same day, 12/28 after hours to fix it.  a very fast and efficient young man named Matthew had the light back up in less than 20 minutes.  While he was here, we had him fix a light switch.  Matthew was excellent!!!  Great value, great work, and really nice people!!  BTW, our guest were very appreciative  the problem was resolved!

Worst experience with a sub contractor ever. Called them to move a surface outlet for a kitchen range 3”. Sent a guy out who said he had no wire on his truck. Paid him one hour at electrician’s wages to go to Lowe’s for one foot of wire. Next day, appliance installers arrive, and he only moved the outlet 1”. Owner of this company was too busy to fix it immediately, so we had to hire another company to do it right. No refund after one was promised for this abysmal service.

If I could give zero stars, I would.  They changed an entire 200 watt electrical system to a 100 watt system because it was "easier."  (mind you, everything in the house was set up for 200 watt, besides the wiring).  I have had nothing but issues with my outlets not working, brand new light bulbs blowing etc, since I have moved in.  I also requested a copy of the receipt and invoice with my name on the account and they refused to give it to me!  I would never recommend such a company.  Customer service is horrible.

In reply to your reply: This request was a buyer's request for the seller to pay for it.  Also, the original quote had my name on it (I still have that). Additionally, you were calling me the morning it was scheduled for information, so now when it is convenient for you to not comply to a request for a receipt, you changed the name on the order to the seller's name.  I had no issues getting receipts from any of the other 3 places I requested work to be completed on behalf of the seller.  Also, we talked in excess about the 200 watt change...in one sentence you said it would be the same price and then in the next you said it would be way more expensive.  Basically it was just the easier route for you, in order to keep my 200 watt equipment. Along with the bulbs blowing, plate covers were put on outlets that were too small, causing gaps between my tiles and the plate, my ceiling fan light/fan switch has a short and does not work, and multiple brand NEW bulbs have blown out within a day of putting them in.

We are sorry to hear that you are having problems with your new home.
The work that we did was for the seller to meet the code requirements necessary to sell the home. At the time, we did the most cost effective, efficient repair necessary to meet code requirements per the real-estate transaction, as requested by the customer.
In order to make it 200 amps, it would have required extensive structural repairs to be made to the home. The benefit of making that repair would not have aligned with the cost of the damage that the repair would have caused. The seller is only required to meet the code requirements. Therefore, the repair that was done was in the best interest of all parties involved.
The title company is the one that ordered and paid for the work; therefore, the receipt was provided to them. They would more than likely be willing to provide you with a copy; however, we cannot provide you with one.
As far as the outlets not working and light bulbs blowing out, it is rare that would be caused by the repairs that White’s Electrical did, however we would be happy to come out and evaluate the situation for you.

I used to work for a company that did regular business with Whites, some jobs very simple and some more involved. I was always really impressed with them in every way. All staff we encountered were courteous and professional, and very clearly communicated with the company about how much time, labor, and cost a job would entail. Whenever they had to come in during our business hours, they were very respectful of our staff and we never felt like they were in the way or interrupting our workflow. I also recommended them to a friend who had a very limited budget after seeing their work ethic in action, and the owner himself personally consulted with my friend and worked within her budget to do as much as possible, and the result was quality workmanship with which they have had no problems.

The owners of this company are a young family of strong integrity, and they work very hard to provide a good experience to their customers as they know how important it is to their livelihood. I'm happy that the company I worked for supported another small business in this way, and I'd recommend Whites to anyone needing electrical work done!

This team recently finished a large project at our newly purchased 1927 built home in Irvington in Indianapolis.  They had to rewire the majority of our house eliminating the use of the old knob and tube wiring.  it was an 8 day project that they had to do with us living here.  It included upgrading our 100 amp service to 200 amp service.  They did a great job, and the company they recommended to repair the necessary wall holes was also great.  (All IN Painting)
If you are buying an older home with ungrounded plugs and 2 wire old knob and tube wiring, have these guys consult before you close as they are experts at getting this type of transformation done efficiently and predicting the cost.  Not every electrical contractor will be capable of doing this efficiently.
Also BE AWARE, and we were not, insurers do NOT like to insure houses with old knob and tube 2 wire ungrounded wiring.  Take this into consideration in your purchase agreement and know the cost up front as it is not inexpensive.
We highly recommend White's Electrical for the type of work we had done.
