  I contacted them to simply hook up a mini split AC unit to my breaker that was only 10 feet away, and I would supply all materials needed. I was told they could come do the job in four days. I asked about an estimate. I was told if I wanted an estimate I would have to wait nearly two weeks for someone to come give me an estimate (even though someone was available to do the work without an estimate in four days) and on top of waiting two weeks for someone to come give me an estimate, I would need to wait an additional two weeks to be put on the schedule (again, they were able to send a worker out in four days sans estimate) Seems strange? Be careful! Because after a week I was sent an estimate via email without anyone coming to look at the job. And the estimate was $1250!!!!!! This is a two hour job and I supply all materials. $625 an hour!? Really!!??? So I’m so glad I didn’t have them just come do the job without the estimate. I would have been slapped with a $1250 bill for a job that two other professional electricians bid $350 for, and one of them completed the job for that price. What a scam. Unprofessional crooks. Be warned.

  Mr. Dunn, I am sorry that you were unhappy with your experience with us. I hope I can clear up a few things here, but I encourage you to call our office to fully review your proposal. We have both an electrical and estimating department. Our estimate schedule fills up quickly and we are generally scheduled out 3 weeks or more. Our electrical schedule is also full, we had a job get postponed and that created an opening. When you told us you did not want time and material and you wanted an estimate, and needed it quickly, we did an estimate from pictures that you provided. Your estimate included the labor and material to install a new circuit, with GFCI outlet per code, as well the AC split. Material was included in this bid. Generally due to warranty and liability issues, we do not use customer supplied wiring material. The work would require well over four hours to complete. We really do want to hear from our customers-- we want to ensure that the full scope of work is clear; with each proposal, along with all applicable CCB paperwork we send an introductory letter encouraging you to contact us with any questions about the proposal. We strive to provide great service and communication and we would have appreciated the opportunity to discuss your concerns. We hope you were able to get your electrical work completed.

  I bought my first home, and as we were remodeling the inside of the house, we lost power in the living room and kitchen. Winema was able to come out about a week later. They had to bring another guy out to crawl up in the attic, doubling the cost. They were able to fix it in about 5 minutes, cost me $300, thought it was fixed. Same problem happened 2 weeks later when no electricity was even being used. They are charging me full price to come out and fix it a second time, and it's taking about 2 weeks for them to have time to come out. Not recommended. It's a shame that there is a shortage of electricians in Klamath and they can essentially do and charge whatever they want.

  Carly when we received your signed authorization yesterday evening we tried to squeeze you in today, we understand that you could not change your schedule today, and I am sorry that the dates we offered you for next week will not work — but we do have additional openings the first part of March, so we can schedule your work in less than two weeks providing those dates work for you. Give us a call and we can make a plan together.
