  John was on my boat for 3 hours, fixed the port 454 7.4L, generator, and bilge pumps. Awesome job John, even cleaned up the wire bundle jungle, thanx!!!

  John fixed a throttle cable issue that had not been properly fixed by two other shops. He actually called me three days after I picked it up to see if his efforts worked. What mechanic ever does that? None in my 69 years.

  Capt. John Aldridge and his Crew at Zuidewind Marine are some of the most honest, hardworking, and fair marine service providers in town. I have been taking my boats to Capt. John for over 8 years now. He has always taken care of any problem I have had. I owned a 1993 Walkaround 230 Pro-line, Capt. John did a number of repairs to that vessel. To name a few- (1) installation of a dual Simrad NSS with radar and transducer; (2) complete installation of new exhaust for my 2003 four stroke Yamaha 225; (3) manufactured & installed a new 110-Gal gas tank and brand-new deck; (4) boat detailing. Recently, I was 20 miles offshore when an alarm went off notifying me that I had water in the fuel system. After about 20 min of attempting to fix the problem, I lifted the port side engine and began to limp home at 7 mph. At 12 miles out, I was able to get a single bar on the cell phone and texted Capt. John explaining the situation. He replied immediately with some things to try. Unfortunately, nothing worked. In our final exchange, he advised me to meet him at the shipyard and he would check it out. I texted him at 3:30 pm as we went through the pass, and when I arrived at the Pensacola Shipyard, he was waiting for me. Within 30 minutes, Capt. John replaced the faulty fuel sensor at the dock, and I was on my way home for a fun weekend with the wife and kids. Capt. John Aldridge runs a friendly professional business at Zuidewind Marine. I have and will always highly recommend them to every boat owner I know.
