Came and fixed our hot water heater during the Holiday! Have called them a few times since to add outlets and replace circuit breakers. Always go out of the way to make sure you get what you want. Today they even made a trip out to check up on some concerns I had and explained everything in great detail. Will call them EVERY time I have any electrical issues/work.

The Service tech arrived on time, to relocate a ceiling light, and a GFCI Outlet. I was quoted $70.00 an hour , ( which is normal + or - in the area), plus any materials. The job was done in 90 minutes, ( but he literally spent the last 15 minutes talking on the phone with a co-worker). I was expecting to pay for 1.5 hours labor but he charged me for 2 hours labor and another $26.00 for 2 feet of wire, one electrical box, and a ceiling fan brace. Of course the brace sells for $6.47, and the box 98 cents at Home Depot. But Sure while your at it, why not gouge me for the cost of parts too. ( He told me that home depot was were he got the parts.) I complained about having to pay for 2 hours labor and he said his company charges by the hour, and he also indicated that I was paying for his driving time. I paid the bill of $168.15, and even though he did a good job ( actually anyone would have done just as well) I would not hire them again. It should have been disclosed upfront (during the estimate) that I was paying for his driving time, if it was disclosed, I would not have hired this company. I mean really, I don't mind paying a fair price but this company overcharged me by at least $45.00 by any standard of fairness. I either over paid for the labor, or drive time but I overpaid. Other companies charge about the same hourly rate but don't screw you into paying for drive time to get to your location. Most companies charge a full rate for the first hour, but then after that they charge for increments of 15 minutes. And still other companies charge a flat rate for the job. Finally, your drive time should be a cost of you doing business and should be built into your rates, not added on.

We have had few different things pop up that needed attention from an electrician. We were able to get a quick response from a great technician and the woman that answered the office phone was very helpful. Dave took his time to explain what was going on and went out of his way to complete the work quickly I feel. Thanks!
