  Called Mr Barker to examine why my lights stopped working in my finished barn. He came out. Lamented about “having to get in the attic”, asked me to move a large shelf and some items in the corner where the problem most likely was. Told me to call him when I did and he would come back out. I cleared the top shelf of the large shelf that’s built to hold 1 ton that he could use as a platform, and moved the small items from the corner. I texted Mr Barker and informed him of such and asked when he could make it back out. No response. At all. I even messaged a couple more times and stated if you don’t want to do the repair could you at least let me know, as I waited a week for a response and would need to get someone else. Again, no response. Barn is air conditioned and I was more than willing to move whatever. He stated my car was in the way of the attic access when he was here. I stated I could move that easily. Just seemed to be looking for reasons not to fool with a “small job”. In a nut shell, unless your job is super easy or pays off large… I wouldn’t call these guys.

  Barker Electric came out beyond fast. Within about an hour, he had diagnosed our problem and restored power to our family room. Extremely reasonable pricing and great service. Would highly recommend!
