This is a great company! It seems no job is too big or too small. Mike Bullard is very knowledgeable and everyone of the electricians I have met have been personable and professional. Even talked to my little dog Sugar when they came in and out so she wouldn't be too stressed! Highly recommend Carolina Wiring Service!

First of all, let me begin by stating we will NEVER use this electrucian again. He came out to our home and gave us a price. The final bill was almost 2 times what we agreed to. Another friend had to come by and repair a couple things that were wired wrong. Could not believe we fell for this scam. I asked at the end of the job had the inspector approved the work and one of his electrucians said it wasn't getting inspected because they weren't told to get a permit. I was really surprised because I had heard good things about this company. this work was done about 2 months ago and I just now am getting around to completing this post because we found some other problems yesterday with the wiring. switche is cutting off in the middle of the night and have to reset each morning. BIG let down. I aint even called back. I don't want them back here. $600 job has now cost me 1700 and it still isn't right. Wont make this mistake again.

To address Mr. Steve Williamson, I am so sorry to hear about this. We would be glad to rectify any situation you feel unfair that happened with Carolina Wiring Service out of Rocky Mount, NC. If I, the owner, Mike Bullard, price something I always use that price even I do not price high enough unless the quote states there could possibly be extras. I do the majority of all the quoting. Larry Butler does a small amount of quoting and he has been with me for 30 years. We try to be extremely fair. My electricians are not asked to get permits ever. I get the permits or the ladies in the office get the permits. My guys do not call for inspections. They let me know when it is ready for the inspection and that is the extent of their roll in the permit area of my company. This work you are referring to was done 5 months ago calculating per your statement of "This work was done 2 months ago" and I am just now seeing this on Oct 3rd, 2019, (Posted on 3.11.2020 after noticing the reply was not showing up. Needed to "Claim Business" on Google) on Google Reviews and it dates this comment of being written 3 months ago. We try to keep very good records. I have the same billing lady that has been with me for 22 years. She is the only one in the office that does the billing. She does not recognize your name. We have searched our records and cannot find your name in our work orders or billing anywhere. This leads me to ask are you sure you have the right company? There is another Carolina Wiring Service but they are an LLC and we are INC. We are out of Rocky Mount, NC. My office number is 252-442-3932 and if you call the office they can connect you directly to me or you can call me directly at 252-883-5268. I sure hope you get your house electrically safe and if we in fact did do this work please call the office and give your name, address and if we were contracted for your home through a builder. Please note that if we were contracted by a builder he would have given you his bill, not mine, as mine would have to go directly to the builder per the agreement with the builder as well as the original quote. I called a few times before a representative arrived. It took a 2-3 weeks before the installation of 2 door bells. Bells work perfectly. Just have to be patient.

With many people staying home this past year those people are calling to get work done to their homes. We are thankful for it but it does mean sometimes it takes a little bit of time before we can catch everyone. We try to save room in our schedules for emergencies but sometimes those emergencies end up taking a whole day.
