  Yikes! Customer beware. Called them out for a quote on a (relatively) simple repair of a shorted outlet. The tech, Paul, took a glance at the wall and instantly presented me with an estimate of $625.34 . With such an oddly specific number, I asked him what the breakdown of labor and parts was. "Oh, we don't break it down like that." It's not just that the quote was 2-3 times higher than appropriate (which it was actually fixed for by a well-known company), it's that he made no effort to disguise the blatant guesswork/attempt to overcharge. EDIT: Apparently Allsource says they were here 40 minutes.... oddly, my home cameras show the technician was in the house less than 10 minutes. The wires weren't burnt beyond the outlet at all. I know because the company that actually DID the work looked closely at the damage, provided photos for their estimate... everything you'd want an electrical company to do. I used John Moore. Fast, reliable, and obviously, bonded and performed the work to code. Even better, they never tried to cover bad service with excuses.

We wished that you would've call us or answer our follow up call so we would had the opportunity to explain our companies procedures. Many times there is little understanding of the process it takes to operate a service call business and I would like the opportunity to explain our side of things. The technician advised you the proper way to replace this outlet which is to cut up the sheet rock, replaced the burnt wire and replace the Sheetrock, which is the proper way to do the job. We would not do this job if it's not properly done by code, if you got someone else to do it differently you are taking the risk to cause a fire hazard. The quote on file that was provided to you listed several electrical items, for cutting up sheet rock and replacing burnt wires , not just a (shorted outlet), he did not just take a look at your outlet and made up a price , our GPS tracker shows that he spent over 40 minutes at your property, moreover our technicians go by a approved pricing book which is used by most respectable electrical contractor's companies in the area. Per guidelines, there is no issue breaking down the prices and itemizing a proposed job, which the company does automatically after a job is approved by the customer. Having to give you prices of parts and details prior to any any agreement, or winning your business can cause you the consumer to take our prices and present it to other companies for negotiation purposes. Our company offers lifetime warranty on our work and top of the notch guaranteed materials, and reassurance that our technicians are licensed, veterans electricians. We came out promptly within hours of your call for service, no travel fee, no charge for the estimate and that should account for good business deed. It's unfortunate that you chose to under rate us on several review websites instead of giving us a call to further discuss your concerns.

  I called this company because I needed a few light fixtures changed out, and I wanted to add motion lights outside ofy home. They came out and gave me a free quote, and their prices were so reasonable. They did an awesome job, and they were very professional. I highly recommend this company.

  Allsource Electrical is a reliable trustworthy company. Their prices are very reasonable, and the work they did at my home was of great quality.
