We've been without heat for 4 days so far and they cancelled our appointment today to come fix our furnace. Our heat pump seemed to work fine at first, but as temperatures have consistently been below freezing, our furnace is not kicking in like it's supposed to. With a baby in the house it has been very difficult to have no heat and keep her away from the space heaters, the fire, and the oven which we have needed to keep the house warm. A week without heat doesn't sound like "24/7 service" to me. We had a related issue recently and thought everything would be fixed, but apparently not. On top of it all, they will be charging us to fix their faulty install.

Nice technician, but was quoted $1200 to fix my furnace from their office. That seemed high, so I checked online, and I was able to order the genuine parts in 2 days, and it took about 15 or 20 minutes to replace the parts which cost me $280. $900 for them to come and do 20 minutes of work was pretty outrageous. I only needed a simple screw driver, and socket set, no fancy tools or training. They must think their techs are worth $2000 an hour or something.

Fairly nice install team. The work done at first seemed ok. But a year and a half later, I have had multiple issues with a brand new heat pump. The first issue, I was able to discover myself (The whole reason I hired a company to install a heat pump is that I don't know enough to do it. I should not be able to troubleshoot and discover their problems after looking at the manual for a few minutes). And of course the time you discover these problems are on the coldest days of the year when you don't have heat (or enough heat) and you're relying on your oven and a tiny space heater to keep your house livable. Also don't believe their 24/7 service claims. Even if you call during business hours, they don't pick up and answer the phone, let alone provide service. The sales guy oversold, and knew less about the system than he tried to make you think. Not that this is uncommon for sales people at any company. Overall, they might be an ok company for a simple furnace install. But maybe heat pumps are just a little too complicated for them to really get right.
