Jason arrived on time, immediately went to work, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He was thorough in his work and checked everything he did. Couldn't have asked for a better skilled technician! He was excellent. Hodges is my "go to" electricians!! Bill McCarriston

Jason was amazing!! Very responsive, kept us updated on the schedule, and very quick. We had two separate jobs done: added an outlet and installed under/over-cabinet lighting. For the lighting installation, he was here installing the same day that the consult took place. Very professional, kind people. Only complaint is that they said they don't do quotes. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!

It's unfortunate people can go on here and just post any lie they want in an attempt to hurt someones business. Hodges Electric has been a staple in this community for over 60 years now. One of the oldest full service electrical contractors in Wilmington, still family owned & operated since 1957, that's 63 years of satisfied customers & a reputation for quality work at fair prices. The prices are competitve with other companies in our area. They are upfront and HONEST with the customers, telling them right away when they can't get there as soon customers have been used to. Sadly, the review from CPOSEY171 was not honest at all. The customer 'C. Brown" called and asked to have a couple small things done. (We have been backed up & when hurricace came got backed up further with customers with no power taking priority.) When tech got there she led him all around house making a page long list of additional work requested and when she was "dont with him" she brought him to her husband who then added a bunch more work as well. Typical 'bait & switch'...then when he couldn't do all that that day (since he came prepared for a small job), he brought work order back to office with long list attached for another tech or himself to take it when someone was availabe to be on job for couple days...instead of the couple hours he was expecting & had available then. He was already booked for something else next follwoing days. Customer called to check status of all the additional work & when told she would have a little longer wait now that turned into a much bigger job she indicated she may have to call someone who could get there sooner...she was told we understand, we appoligized for the additional delay and tried to explain he was there to do work originally called in & wasn't expecting to be there for days, and if she went elsewhere we would just bill minimum serive call for his time spent there - she didn't like that. Truth is they called to have small job done, a technician was dispatched to do the job, they changed the job after he arrived - by a lot - and that time is worth a minimum service call. He came prepared to do the work...if he hadn't been on her job he would have been on another job. The office staff did NOT hang up on the customer - when she explained situation, the customer got loud & nasty towards her at which point she said that's fine & goodbye before hanging up.
