  This has to be the worse nightmare of my life. I buy and flip homes and had hired brian at insight builders to remodel a house of mine. I trusted his work because he was a liscensed contractor only to find out after paying him 45k in cash that all of his work was not up to city code and was done illegally. The city permits he showed us were fake and he has refused to re do all of his work stating the city is wrong. My house cannot be listed for sale untill everything is done legally. Insight builders insurance has only agreed to cover up to 15k in repairs. I dont know what to do.

  Cancelled on me the first day didn’t warn me or answer my confirmation texts till after i had already wasted my morning, then rescheduled for the following day. He ghosted me the following day. Didn’t answer confirmation texts or pick up his phone when I called him. This was the owner. Show some guts and at least answer your phone if you are not showing or are late. Then I don’t have to hang around my house wondering whether I can get other errands done. I’ve rearranged my schedule two days in a row. It’s just bad business. I Would not recommend this contractor.
