We worked with KSI to remodel our kitchen.  Our designer Janine did a great job creating a beautiful design and then managing the project so it came to life.  We love our new kitchen!

We worked with Ambra to get a new countertop for our kitchen.  Ambra was friendly and professional.  She listened to our wants and needs and offered excellent advice.  She communicated throughout the whole process and worked with us on the timing of the countertop installation.  We had an issue with the countertop installation and Ambra worked with the installers to resolve it quickly and positively.  We could not have asked for a better experience.  I recommend Ambra and KSI in Brighton as highly as I can.

This place was great. Extremely friendly, responsive, and we got exactly what we needed. I would highly recommend it if you're considering a bathroom or kitchen remodel taking a look at this place. KSI is a great company. Lloyd was my designer to help us with our unique kitchen design. From start to finish him and his team were top notch. He designed the perfect cabinet setup for what we were requesting, even though it was a little unorthodox. It’s exactly what we were looking for. I installed my own cabinets. I was unable to install the crown molding, Lloyd agreed to help us out with this and sent his team out at a very fair price. Not knowing exactly what they were getting into. The crown molding installation was going perfect, until they ran into the issue of my pantry cabinet being installed out of square by a half inch. This problem didn’t phase them, they went ahead and reinstalled the section of cabinets affected with no trouble. The crown molding was perfect. The attention to detail and the honesty of doing the job right was top notch. I am so glad that I hired them to do the job. Thank you! I strongly recommend them for anyone that is looking for a company that will do things the right way.

WE hired KSI for our kitchen Island months ago.  Our Rep was Lovely and did a great Job designing the Island for us. When our Island was delivered 12 weeks later it had no back on one of the main cabinets. So we had to wait another 8 to 10 weeks for the new one to arrive. Hey stuff happens right? Not angry but a little disappointed.
So we were excited when the new one arrived weeks later, only to find it full of dents and paint missing as well as it was missing shelves and it was not painted inside?
The third one also had issues and didn't even make it off the truck.  Number 4 needed to be trashed completely and didn't even leave the factory of KSI. This was during the "White Glove" treatment we were told we would be receiving from now on.
This brings us to number 5 which had to be built from the beginning. This is not some fancy detailed cabinet, or a new design that had not been thought of yet.  A basic cabinet with shelves and two doors on the front. Well our 5th cabinet should finally be delivered next week. Fingers crossed because packing and protecting their products seems to be a huge issue for this company along with actually finishing and following the directions and specs.
Each piece takes about 10 to 12 weeks to be made and delivered. Made in America and zero chips needed. Not even told that they would push us to the front of the line topossibly get it completed quicker. Soooo White Glove treatment means??
So by now I am thinking  you have done the math as far as time is concerned? We are in the same season that we originally started this process.
The island was not cheap and to MY credit I have never yelled at or sent any nasty emails. Your welcome KSI .
What i am extremely shocked about is that Not once has any other higher up person from KSI reached out to apologize for their Shoddy craftsmanship or taken responsibility for any inconvenience they have caused?  There is a huge amount of inconvenience.
Our Rep has apologized but it is out of her hands. So my patience reached its max and we finally decided to either cancel the order and fight for our money back or ask for something in return for this debacle . We had originally decided to do the install ourselves but we decided to ask KSI to step up and actually install the Island for us as a gesture of goodwill? They charge about $1000.00 to install the island.
They are only only willing to pay half, and our rep had to fight for that deal. So if we agree  then they are still getting more cash from us after they messed up 5 times so far? I think this is not best practices and maybe they need to understand customer service or satisfaction a little more?
I am very skeptical that number 5 will be perfect but one can hope.
My name is Joanne and I have no problem owning this review. Krista is our rep and fully aware of how her company has not delivered on any professional promise or cabinet so far.
I am sure they have satisfied customers, but at this moment i am not one of them.
UPDATE...
KSI came through and went above. . They installed our Island and replaced the one top that had been damaged.  The install crew were so professional.  They took their time with measuring and offered advice with a few things that we had not considered. The island is beautiful and looks better than we imagined. WELL DONE KSI and Thank you. Thank you Krista from the Brighton location. Your company needs to give you a raise.

Joanne, we're so sorry to hear about all the difficulties with your project.  This year we've seen many issues with lead times and shipping from the manufacturers due to labor and demand challenges. That's not your concern of course, but sometimes it does make it challenging to provide that White Glove treatment our clients expect and deserve.
