  I hired Kurrent in Fall 2020 to remove and replace old knob & tube wiring as well as install a new breaker panel. Not only was the job was incomplete (there is still knob and tube that is hooked up) and I’ve been left with outlets that don’t work, a mislabeled breaker box, they were completely unresponsive and the “one-day” project turned into a three month fiasco. I’ve never had such a poor customer service experience before. I would never hire them again or refer a friend to them.

  I have employed Kurrent twice. The first time went smoothly. But the 2nd time (this month Nov 2021) was a different story. While the work was fine, they have started some very shady billing practices. I was slapped with an additional $100 after the job was finished. When I asked them why, their coordinator Ashley mentioned it is a new service charge they have initiated this year. The amount is not the issue here, but this practice is a very shady way of getting money from customers. Very disappointed with them this time.

  I live in Des Moines. Blake and Jake arrived on time, reviewed what all I was wanting done, and immediately got to work. The installed a new outlet and ran power to it, relocated a cable TV outlet, switched out old outlets for new ones, installed a newer version of a porcelain light, and ran wires through the wall for a wall-mounted TV. They were fast, efficient, obviously knew what they are doing, and even vacuumed after they finished. I was able to ask questions and get an explanation in layman's terms. Definitely would recommend them to anyone seeking electrical work. Five Star Work *****
