  My experience today was simply off the charts. I call for help in obtaining my home, new roof Certificate of Compliance. I was very frustrated when I called, but Lindsay (the Customer Service Specialist who took my call), took the time and did her due diligence in finding and corroborating the information I provided her. Finally, she offered to email me the Certificate of Compliance for my roof. What’s more important, she also took the time to be kind and friendly, and with a great sense of humor, she managed to dismiss all my concerns about the process. I have seen many negative reviews about the Lee County Permit Department, so next time you call Customer Service, please ask for Lindsay and you will be very pleased with the results.

  Rude staff who seem to get rude very quickly if one asks questions. Only government employees can treat people this way. These people could never work in the private sector. They’d be fired. This review does not come after an occasion of a rude employee, but rather after a continuous pattern of a lack of professionalism and customer service that I have experienced throughout the past two years of working here in swfl.
