  I moved to Loudon last year and I've never had a problem with Loudon Utilities; and actually wanted to write a review real quick because they saved us money! Someone from utilities dropped off a leaflet notifying us that their automated system detected a leak (continuous usage). They didn't seem to wait very long to send it from the time they saw something was wrong, which allowed us to call a plumber and fix a leak in our water meter in the yard that we might not have noticed was leaking for weeks! It was a quick fix and didn't cost us much at all, so I wanted to write to give my thanks to L.U. for the quick warning. :)

  Very quick and professional response to a water leak at my meter. They were respectful of my yard requiring minimal effort on my part to dress up the site. Thank you.

  Giving a 1 star only because I have to. This has been the worst customer service of anywhere I have ever seen. We have been trying to get water turned on and has been request after request made. You never are given a date or time frame of when someone is coming and are never left any paper showing they were there. Also info on follow up if anything else is needed. Home is new and someone needs to be there when they show up to check for water leaks inside of home or risk the chance of home flooding since not living in home. This is so disappointing because thought I could count on my hometown people to do a good job.
