  Drove my older car from Dallas to Taos, and on the drive my rear wheel bearings started to make noise. I called them Monday when they opened and they wrote me a quote for replacing both and to do an alignment. I'm a mechanic myself and I can say their labor rates are very fair. They told me it would be ready the next day by the end of the day which it was. The mechanic was very thorough and made sure everything was good on my car. Service writer was very friendly and professional. They even checked in with me a couple days later to make sure everything was okay, which it was. They do great work here at a fair price, I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a mechanic in Taos.

  Made an appointment for 9am for alignment. They said it would be ready around noon. Came to pick it up at 3:50, hasn't moved yet. Said it would be done by 5pm. Took 2 trips from eagle nest to taos, a day off work and $40. For nothing to get done! Said there was a hand full of things that need to get fixed first. If they would of pulled it in in the morning and told us that information this review would be vastly different Edit: I was contacted by Metric Motors and they refunded the charge on my credit card. Still not happy about the experience, but I am glad they stepped up and agreed what happened was unacceptable.

  I’m from Oklahoma City and called Dave in an absolute panic this morning - my check engine light was on and we are in the middle of a three week road trip. Dave said he couldn’t get us in for repairs until Tuesday, but if we wanted to swing by, he’d check the sensor light and see we had a major problem on our hands. The husband went by 10 minutes later and Dave checked the truck on the spot. Thank goodness, no big problem and we can go on our way. My husband tried to pay Dave but he refused payment - said he was happy to help. THIS is the kind of service and kind of commitment to customers that would make me a long-term customer.
