  Could not help with wall oven install, or was commercial & not residential. No Help At All! Reponse to Owner: The question I was responding to in this review 'was Moyer Elec any help' That Answer is as stated above, NO Help! I note You don't respond to All the reviews, just the ones you can 'Snark' at!

  Moyer Electric was timely and performed excellent work. Respectful and knowledgeable staff. Provided helpful suggestions and solutions to take what we had and how to incorporate and improve what we were adding on. Left the job tidied and clean.

  I was given a quote of replacing two outside lights and some.light switches, and I was billed much higher than the quote. When I paid the bill I was told that they bill by the hour and the time that they are on the job. That is fine if I would have been told up front and if the electrician would not have initiated conversation and told me stories. I was billed for this! In additiin to this the electrician had the wrong color switches and so I was billed for him to go to the store to get the right color and he broke one fixture while putting it on and I was billed for his time to go to the store to replace it because, of course, he didn't have the right material in his truck. The work was good, but they are not.prepared, and they are too expensive. In the future I will not do business with Moyer Electeic and will only hire and pay for by the job, not the hour.

  Thank you for your review Martin. We pride ourselves on honest work and our friendly and personable employees. I am sorry that the verbal estimate you were given over the phone was lower than the amount that the job ended up costing. We are not ashamed to say that we do bill customers for the time they spend on the customers job and that we may not have all the materials necessary to complete every job. We are also very proud of the fact that we have one of the most affordable rates for electrical work in our area. Yes, you could surely find another contractor to complete the work for cheaper, but that would be the case for lawyers or any other profession. There are many other fine electrical contractors in our area that may be able to accommodate your future electrical needs and I would be happy to recommend one to you if you are in need of electrical work.
