I honestly have no idea where some of my bill is coming from. We literally don’t even turn on lights and my power bill is always above 200 dollars and I live in a 2 bed apartment. They never want to work with me especially with me having kids and Me losing my job a few months ago. I had my power cut off the next day after paying a past due balance.

Had prepaid electric with them at my previous address. Moved to my new address and canceled the service while I had a $8 credit on the account. Was told everything looked good at the time I canceled. Fast forward a few days and I get a bill for almost $300 saying I'm late and that I had a previous charge on a postpaid account. Even showing payments on dates i didn't make almost like its someone else's bill. Call them and sit on hold for over a hour just to be passed off to others and eventually hung up on not once but twice. This bill needs to be removed or ill be forced to contact the BBB regarding this issue.

This company has been and always will be a joke. You guys are money thieves. Charging system support fees of $23.50 is insane. That’s almost $300 extra a year on top of all the other additional fees you guys charge plus the power. Absolutely disgusting.

Good morning, Alyvia. I am so sorry for the delay in this response. The energy charge and fuel charge on your bill are based on the amount of power you use each month. Most of this charge goes directly to TVA to generate the power. However, the cost of building and maintaining the lines and equipment used to deliver this power to households is fixed. The system support fee is the portion of your bill NGEMC retains in order to cover these fixed costs.
