  This company will have no stars for me. I have been out of power due to someone coming through the neighborhood knocking out the whole neighborhood power. This outage was since November and I was told that I will have to pay a reconnect fee to restore my power due to a situation that was no fault of mine. This is what this Co-op stated that it was no fault of theirs either. WAY TO GO PEE DEE if this not customer service. This is the worst customer service in the world at this time during a Pandemic. I hope plenty of customers see this that if a crisis goes on and they are without power due to any situation other than an act of GOD this company will not be responsible.

  Probably the worst company for electric. Pray DUKE buys them out. They shut my electric off without telling me when my family was sick and i had to travel out of town over an $25.00 bill, I continued to receive bills the 2 months while i was in florida assuming my power was on. when my family was well enough we came home on a weekend, with power being off pretty much over a month in a half it ruined the fridge control unit, we had maggots everywhere, no one at PDEC explained why the meter was removed and charged me 450 deposit before they would even come out there to put a meter in. They failed to respond to BBB requests on multiple contact requests. My bills when we didn't even have power were still $35-48.00, seems like they just throw numbers out there. Supervisors are rude, some staff seem to have sympathy but cannot help without permission of a horribly rude supervisor. You will not find a more terrible company out there for energy. Prayers for those moving in the area who have experienced how regular companies operate for energy.

  In my opinion I think they overcharge. One day my lights will run over $20 a day and will continue to run that until I call and complain and then magically it goes back to normal for about a week and then does it again. I absolutely hate Pee Dee Electric.
