Been out of power for three days, nobody has even been by to check on any of the houses or well being of the occupants. Maybe if they worked like it was a actual emergency instead of their normal 7-3 day jobs, we'd have power and my father who is dying on hospice would actually be able to breathe on his machines that require power to run. Freezing weather and tons of houses without power and they call it a day at 3:30 and park their service trucks in the church parking lot of Jones Cove rd. for the night and go home to their nice warm homes with power

It has been a long 3 1/2 days! I cannot tell you how thankful we are for the professional linemen and tree trimmers. They have been working hard. I watched them today on our road and saw how in tune they work, first the tree trimmers cutting trees off lines, then marking downed lines or areas the need extra work for the linemen. And then the linemen! You could not pay me enough to do that job! Thank you to everyone that has helped restore power to my neighborhood!

We have been without power like many others since Monday. But everyone around Jayell less than 1/4 mile if that has power. Our neighbors are about 500 feet and they have power. Our power pole is on Leatherwood, just a fuse at most or transformer. But power was out on the main strip of pigeon forge. Within 2 hrs back on. I understand that a lot of people are without, but come on.
