Yesterday were having electrical problems. We called Shaw electric on short notice needed someone to stop by that day with an emergency. They sent over Toby and his apprentice. They were very nice and knowledgeable. Staying around to make sure the problem was solved by MidAmerican Energy. We really appreciated the extra effort and time they put into helping us restore our power..Toby and his apprentice deserve a raise 😉. Don't forget that the customers are always right 👌

The person who came was very professional. He installed a ceiling fan/ light and worked efficiently. The job took a little over an hour and he cleaned up when he was done. I will definitely call them for my next project.

Shaw Electric Inc's management thoroughly impressed me. I originally called because my duct system is live and I needed a couple of other things done. The first tech they sent was at my house for six hours, during that time he; installed an LED troffer, fixed a couple outlets, changed a couple outlets to GCFI's, corrected a double tapped circuit on my breaker box (about 2 hours worth of services). The rest of the time this tech spent trying to figure out how the duct system was live. This tech then rounded the bill up a full extra hour and when I informed him he was charging too much he threatened to raise my bill even higher. I believe this was because he saw a young home owner and was looking to take advantage. So I signed a check for the amount but REFUSED to sign the invoice because he was overcharging. Once the tech left I called their office to report the unethical treatment I received from this tech and complain about the extra hour he charged. Their service rep, John was more than helpful. The first solution he offered was to send a different tech to see if he could figure it out, being paid for by that extra hour charged. We tried that route but still didn't have an answer for the duct system. He then contacted me again saying he reached out to corporate and they were disgusted in the first techs behavior when it was time to pay. They decided to reimburse me for 5 hours. I am beyond satisfied with this companies management.
