This guy is top notch! Not only did he install my 240v line quickly (which works perfectly by the way), he did it in the most professional and economical way possible without sacrificing any quality. On top of that, he's also really friendly and just an all around great guy. Definitely hiring him again to fix the lights in my room when I get the time and money!

Sorry for taking so long to write a review by the way. It slipped my mind because I had so much to do. Its busy being a welder/ironworker.

After the circuit breaker panel in our garage failed and caught on fire, I contacted Dave Pringle to assess the damage. He was able to start on the project the following day and kept me updated on the progress he made, explaining various codes and how the components worked in the system when I had questions.

I found him to be very knowledgeable and friendly in all our conversations. Dave went above and beyond to ensure our house was once again safe and functioning as it was prior to the fire.

For the quality of his work and reasonable prices he charged, I would not hesitate to recommend him for any electrical work you may have.

Dave is wonderful to work with - prompt, courteous, personable, and does great work. We needed a new plug installed on our oven. Called Dave in the evening and he was out to do the work the next day. He thoroughly explained the steps he was taking to make the repairs, as well. He also took the time to answer my questions related to a completely different project than what we asked him to come out for. Will certainly be using Dave for our future electrical needs.

This was the absolute worst electrician we have ever experienced. He was rude and disrespectful, he went through every room in our place when the problem was only 2 rooms on the top floor. He did a shotty job and would never suggest to anyone. Along with the other problem he also broke the lock to an unlivable space with opened wires and open floor board while we have pets.

Where to start, when she says that I'm a rude and disrespectful person, some may agree if you think me telling you to clean up cat feces off the floor from areas where I have to work that have been sitting there for weeks and building. So if that is rude I'll own it. Now Disrespectful? Well you had two weeks before I was going to be there. The receptacles had piles of strewn clothes and junk in front of them, with garbage on the floor. You knew I was scheduled. I don't know what type of conditions you expect me to work in? So I may not be the electrician for you because of that, no hard feelings here. I'm still not going to let you bad mouth me without defending myself.
Now onward to the comment going through every room in her house Number one let's start out it's her apartment and I was hired by the property manager the daughter of the property owner who is not the one writing the review. Second part of this is if anyone who knows anything about  knob and tube wiring that was installed in 1910 to 1940 the neutral wires on this will go to two or sometimes four circuits all through the house. That's why you have to go room to room check things and see what's working and what's not. Now anyone who has dealt with an old home with just knob and tube wiring knows that you get one to two receptacles per room and one light then it moves on to the next room. The problem may not even be in the room were power is not being supplied, furthermore on the second floor where does the power come from? The first floor or the basement so of course you got to go that direction floor by floor room by room towards the panel box till you find the problem. Now the comment about the lock, I did break the lock. I called the property manager and ask for a key they brought over a couple of keys. None of them opened the lock it was a padlock so with the property owners permission I broke the lock. That's not for this reviewer to judge it wasn't hers. If she was worried about her animals going up into that attic she should have closed the door, it's not hard, you close the door. I closed it when I left. The floorboards which I took up were in the unlivable space. Not part of the property which she rents. Upon departure I told the property manager that this person was ruining her house. I also refused to go back and work there till it was cleaned up. No apologies here at all. I don't want to work in these type of conditions. I hope the people reading this know that I'm telling the truth. Thank you for taking the time to read this David Pringle. I'm not going to comment any further.

Quick & excellent service. A spark in one of my electrical outlets caused half of my finished basement to be without power/lighting. David came out the same day I called and was able to diagnose the problem quickly & correct it. He was also able to give me some information about the remodel that was done to my basement prior to my buying the house that will help to keep me from burning out the outlets in the winter months. He was friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, prompt, and helpful. I would recommend him without reservation.

Hiring David was a great decision. He helped me out with two light fixtures and also answered numerous questions I have as a new homeowner. David was efficient, kind, and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend!

Was doing very small bathroom renovations and somehow knocked the power out in my bathroom.  Sparks everywhere.  Realized I was in over my head and found David online.  He was able to come out the same day, which I really appreciated.  He replaced the outlets, and created a new switch just for my wife's hair dryer.  He was able to do all the work in the same day, cleaned up after himself, and made my wife happy.  Seemed fairly priced as well.

I would completely recommend David to anyone who asked.  He was so thorough as he was trouble shooting the issue.  He explained everything he was doing every step of the way...and shared lots of additional information as he worked.  It was like he wanted to help me be more educated as a homeowner.  David also advised me of additional work that I would need, but he didn't pressure me.  And he encouraged me to research why he was making the recommendation.  Everything about this visit is why I make Pringle Electrical Services my electrician of choice.

Would NOT recommend.  Hired him to wire a commercial tanning bed.  Days passed, the house temperature was 85 degrees and we could not figure out why.  Tanning bed is in the basement, 4 floors to the house.  We finally realize the tanning bed was running. It was so hot to the touch it had melted the outside, inside, and reshaped the plexiglass.  Reshaped the plexiglass!!! We have no idea how many days the bed was turned on.  We are guessing several by the amount of damage.  Mr. Pringle mentioned to us he was insured but now that we had a problem he wont give us that insurance information.  We could have had a fire.  Don't use him.  I will be leaving reviews all over.

I have to say this review has made me angry at it's unfairness. Here is the truth of what happened. 1. I did run wire and hook up the "USED" tanning booth not bed that Jess Stewart Purchased and had in the lower level of her home. 2. I turned it on and off several times to show functionality, and it worked fine. 3. I am Insured for $2 Million, Through Kish Insurance located at Kish Bank N. Atherton St. State College, which she never asked for. I am also registered with the PA State Attorney General contractor License HIC # PA057169 Expiration 10/9/2020 (Today’s date 7/19/2019) 4. A malfunctioning board in her USED Tanning Booth turns it on every time the power goes out, this is what I found after resolving the problem. Well the power went out as it does often on the Park Forest side of town with all the trees over hanging the power lines and when it was out and came back on it started the booth. How is this my fault? I didn’t sell her the tanning booth. Well she says they had an extra switch at the desk of the salon that she purchased it from to turn the power to it on and off. Why on a self contained unit would you have that? Did they not tell her something when they sold it used for a couple thousand $$ to her? So I came back when she called and put a timer on it to cut the power after so much time as set, to keep this from happening again. I guess if I wired a receptacle in her house and, the TV was on when she came home that would be my fault to by her logic. I hope you as a potential customer can see this is not my fault. My Business and Family have suffered for this inaccurate account of what happened. I had all good ratings till her review. I had a 5.0 out of 5. Dave was very respectfu of our home and family while doing work, he explained everything he was doing, and rates were very reasonable.  I would highly recommend him!
