UPDATE: After two months of feeling like I was getting the run around, Jim Depoy, from Sanford Electric, called me back. Apparently he is the license holder for the business. He stated he was unaware of what had happened to my ceiling. He wanted to schedule someone to come out and take pictures, which honestly boiled my blood. I refused to let that happen again. Instead, I offered to send him pictures, which he agreed to. I promptly sent them accepted via email. He confirmed receipt. About a week later, I was wondering if I'd ever hear back. The next day, he called and said he would find a dry waller. A week after that, he found a dry waller and called to ask about my availability. I told him just book a date and a time with the dry waller and tell me what it is. I was trying to be as flexible as possible, to facilitate the repair. A couple days later he called and gave me the appointment date and time. The dry waller was on time. The job was completed in about three hours and it looks pretty good. Afterward, Jim called again to see if I was pleased with the work and mentioned painting the area. I declined the offer for painters, since I don't have any matching paint and I don't want to take the time to be there for another subcontractor. The hole is fixed; it can be painted later. I appreciated his gesture for the painters though. The incident occurred on Monday, November 15, 2021 and was repaired on Friday, January 21, 2022. Just over two months to get it fixed. I understand there were a few holidays in between those dates, so that's why I was being as flexible about it as I possibly could. At this point, I don't know if I'd hire them again, but at least I can say they came through in the end and made amends. TERRIBLE. During the work to install a new power outlet with its own breaker, they tunneled it through the garage attic and PUT A LARGE HOLE IN MY CEILING and they have yet to repair it. They have given me the run around in fixing it. They initially did the work in mid NOVEMBER. The technician that accidentally dropped his drill in the attic, which is what broke through the ceiling, took pictures and sent them to the company. He said they would call me to schedule a repair. THEY NEVER CALLED. A week later, when I called the company, they apologized and said they had the pictures and they would get back to me. A week later, they still had not called so I called again. They said they did not have the pictures and needed to come out and see the ceiling to make an estimate. I tried to schedule an appointment where I knew I would be home, but they insisted they wanted to come sooner than that, to get it taken care of right away. So I told them to pick a date and time and I'd have a family member come to my home to allow entry. The day of my appointment, my family member waited 2 hours and no one came. I called them to see if they were coming and they said they in fact were NOT coming because they "found" the pictures. They did not even care to call and cancel. Ridiculous. I have since called and left messages on their website contact and voice message and THEY ARE NOT RETURNING MY CALLS. They put a hole in my ceiling and they are avoiding me. I regret paying them. I should have REFUSED to pay them for their services until the hole in the ceiling was fixed. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! IT HAS BEEN TWO MONTHS since this happened and they are ignoring me. See attached picture for the hole in the ceiling.

Sorry you felt that way but due to Covid all construction contractors are booked for months in advance. In addition to this issue happened during the holidays season. We had tried for months to get someone to your home to doe the repair but had scheduling issues with all the contractors we work with. I see The repair did get completed after the holiday season. It shows the repair was completed in January. As per our records the issue occurred in November. That’s 2 months in these bad times. I am Robin Neilen a electrical engineer and I am the owner. Your Issue is resolved I a timely manner in this crazy times.

I was looking for an electrician to come wire my sunroom. I sent out quotes on a Saturday and within 2 hours I had a call from the owner. He got some basic information on what I was looking for and had someone come out the following week. They were great! The estimate they provided was fair (others were going to charge 3x the amount) and it got done the next week. The electrician was friendly, polite and cleaned up when she was finished. Would definitely recommend them.

The tech (Scott) said it would cost $100. for the 1st hour plus parts (estimated $50.00) maybe $250.00 total so I agreed and let him do the job. When finished he presented a bill for $375.70. He said he "MEANT to say $100.00 for him and $100.00 for his "helper". He didn't address the $123.00 for the part. YIKES!!! They were here JUST ABOUT an hour. What a way to do business . . . . Never again. GET A WRITTEN QUOTE BEFORE YOU USE THESE GUYS. The work was done just fine but I didn't appreciate being taken advantage of financially because I'm a 67 year old woman here by myself. SHAMEFUL way to treat folks....
